Still walking

I have been doing alot of walking. Yes, I did used to run, and will again, but right now, I'm in training for a 3 day 60 mile walk in Dallas in November for Susan G. Komen. Can't remember if I mentioned it. So I walk 4 days a week and try really hard to get in at least 2 strength training days, but want to get 3.

This morning, we saw 2 skunks, which were trying really hard not to get to close to us too.My friend, Jackie, has been walking with me the last few weeks. She just cracks me up. I am convinced she is going to throw me to a wild animal if she has too. She grabs my arm and hangs on when we see something.

I have done really well the last few days on my food and water. The moving has been great, at least 6 times a week. I'm working on eating more veggies and fiber this week. It can be difficult sometimes.

Well, off to do my duty for today.

    If you get sprayed by a skunk, I'm just going to tell you now...that I'm gonna laugh!
