Hunting for my trigger

on Thursday, November 12, 2009

I promise, I'm not trying to avoid my blog. Although you would think so, since I can't seem to drop anymore weight. But no, just been busy with deer season now in full swing, guys taking vacation, and me trying to change our invoicing. Talk about a job. First I have to learn it, then start using it, while teaching the guys how it works. That is like teaching a cow to fetch, if you what I mean. I have done good with my food this week, just still fighting my portions. I take days where I could eat a horse, and for the life of me I can't figure out what is triggering it. I'm about to think that it is artificial sweetner. I tried just using light whipping cream in my coffe and no sweetner, except for what's in the whipping cream. It will definately take some getting used to.

Although I haven't lost any weight, my waste is still shrinking. Not as fast as I would like, but getting smaller. My arms are giving me fits. They refuse to let go of the batwings. I lift weights, prolly not enough, or hard enough, but I lift. I can see some muscles starting to show in my biceps, but my triceps are whistling in the wind. And back fat, where the heck does it come from, do we just run out of room in the front or what. I'm really just trying to be funny, it's much better then getting frustrated and discouraged.

I had a long night lastnight. The hubby went to pick up some things in Illinois and I didn't sleep well. I did great till about 2 A.M., then my little, big dog, she thinks she's big, decided that the deer were not going to be allowed in the yard lastnight. She barked all night long. When I got up at 5:30, she was sleeping like a baby. I just wanted to go over and scare the crap out of her.

I have lots of reading today, and think I'll fix a cup of hot tea, without sweetner, yuck. Have a great Thursday.

Hey, losing inches is wonderful. I know what ya mean about the bat wings...I gave up sleeveless shirts long ago. :) I think you might be right about the pressure. Losing inches is just as important I think. After all, it is smaller "stuff" that we're striving for, isn't it? Sounds like you're busy right now. Keep up the good work.
